Privacy policy
This site is a static guide to Escape Academy 2: Back 2 School. It has no accounts, no comments, no newsletter and no contact form, so most of what a typical site collects does not exist here. What follows is exactly what is collected and by whom.

What the site itself stores
Nothing that identifies you. There are no cookies set by this site, no local storage keys, no session identifiers and no login. The pages are static HTML, CSS and a small script for the image lightbox, all served as files.
Server logs. The hosting provider records standard request data - IP address, user agent, requested path, timestamp and response code - for operations and abuse prevention. That is a property of serving a web page over HTTP, not a feature of this site, and the site owner does not link those logs to individuals.
Analytics
The site uses Google Analytics 4 to count page views and referrers. GA4 sets first-party cookies and records an anonymised identifier, the pages you viewed, approximate location derived from IP, and device class.

If you do not want to be counted, a content blocker or a browser configured to block Google Analytics will stop it, and the site works identically either way.
Third-party advertising
This site may display advertising served by third-party ad networks. Where ads are shown:
- The ad network may set its own cookies or device identifiers to measure impressions and prevent fraud, independently of this site's analytics.
- Those cookies are set by the network, not by this site, and their retention and use are governed by that network's own privacy policy rather than this page.
- On desktop the ad unit loads in the page; on mobile a small banner may render inside an isolated frame of 320 by 50 pixels.
- Ad blockers stop all of it, and nothing on the site is gated behind seeing an ad.
No personal data is sold by this site, because this site does not hold any to sell. No email address is collected for marketing. There is no profiling for advertising done by this site itself.
Links to other sites
Pages link to Steam, and Steam sets its own cookies when you arrive there. This site has no control over what any external site does after you follow a link.
Children
The site is a game guide and is not directed at children under 13. It collects no age information because it collects no personal information at all.
Your rights
Under the GDPR and comparable regimes you have the right to access, correct, delete or port personal data held about you, and to object to processing. This site holds no personal data beyond aggregate analytics and server logs that are not linked to individuals, so there is usually nothing to act on - but if you believe otherwise, write to the address below and the request will be answered.
